DEATH SENTENCE

Film ini cukup menarik tapi a little bit not fair..karna ga happy ending …

Nilai moral film ini juga cukup menyentuh hati…..

NO REVENGE….

Pembalasan dendam si ayah mengakibatkan dia kehilangan bukan hanya satu anak, tapi istri, harta, dan nyawanya sendiri….kasihan lucas..anak paling kecilnya yang endingnya hidup sendiri…

Dan ada quote yang bagus dari film ini , ketika si ayah dan si kepala gengster sama-sama sekarat dan mereka duduk bersebelahan (which is weird for me….)…si kepala gengster mengatakan :
” Look, now you are like one of us….Look how we made you…”

SO guys…..no hating…just loving hehhehe

Easy to say…but not as easy as to do….

But nothing impossible….

Oke deh…..klo dikasi nilai sih skala 1 sampe 10 maka film ini mendapat nilai :
6,5 hehheheheh

Today’s Words by Joel Osteen : Don’t Settle For Good Enough

Don’t Settle For
Good Enough

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“The LORD had said to Abram, ‘Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.’ ”
(Genesis 12:1, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria
In the Scripture, Abraham is listed as one of the heroes of faith. God made one of the first covenants with him. But what’s interesting is that before Abraham, God spoke to Abraham’s father and told him to go where he told Abraham. It says in Genesis 11 that Abraham’s father “left Ur and headed out toward Canaan.” He was going to the Promised Land just like God told Abraham. But it says, “He stopped along the way and settled in Haran.” Why did he stop? There were too many difficulties. It was hard traveling with all of his flocks and herds. He had his family, his possessions. It wasn’t comfortable. He finally decided, “I can’t go any further. I know this isn’t the Promised Land, but it’s good enough.”

How many times do we do the same thing? We start off right. We’ve got a big dream. We’re going to fulfill our destiny. But along the way, we face opposition. Adversity arises. Too many times, we say like Abraham’s father, “What’s the use? I’m just going to settle here. It’s good enough.” No, I want to light a new fire in you. Decide today: “I’m not going to settle halfway, three-fourths of the way, or nine-tenths of the way. I’m going to make it all the way in to my promised land.”

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, today I declare that I won’t settle for good enough. I won’t settle halfway to Your promises. I choose to stand strong, dig my heels in, and press forward into the Promised Land you have prepared for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

You Were Planned

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…”
(Jeremiah 1:5, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

What an amazing thought: God knew you before you were even born! He saw your unformed substance and said, “I have a purpose for this life. I have good plans for them!” Then He breathed His life into you and sent you through your mother and father. They may have had issues, but that doesn’t have to stop you from becoming all that God intended you to be. You have been handpicked by Almighty God to be here at this time in history!

Sometimes we hear parents say, “We weren’t expecting this child. They were a surprise. They were an accident.” No, that child may have been a surprise to you, but they weren’t a surprise to Almighty God. No child can be born without God breathing His life into them. You may think, “Well, Joel, I was unwanted. I was an unplanned pregnancy.” No, you wouldn’t be here if God didn’t give life to your seed.

In God’s eyes, there is no such thing as being illegitimate. Remember, He knew you before you were ever born! Find confidence in His love knowing that you are a person of destiny, and you are part of His mighty plan!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, thank You for choosing me before I was ever born. Thank You for knowing me and revealing Yourself to me. I trust that You are working in my life today, even when I can’t see it. I stand in faith knowing that You have a mighty plan for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Invite God to Fight Your Battles

Did you know your posture can communicate your faith? There’s a scripture in Psalm 24 that says, “Lift up your head and the King of glory will come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord mighty in battle.” Think about that for a moment. When you lift your head, you are inviting God to come in and fight your battles for you. What does it mean to lift your head? It means you are setting your focus on God—you are looking toward Him. You are putting your faith and hope in Him and getting a vision of yourself rising higher and higher.

Understand that your life is going to follow your vision. You can’t stay focused on where you are or how it’s never going to get any better because if you’re looking down and focusing on your problem, you’ll stay right where you are. Instead, you’ve got to lift up your head and invite God to fight your battles. That means if you’re sick, you’ve got to start seeing yourself as well. If you’re struggling in your finances, start seeing yourself with more than enough. You may be facing major obstacles, but start seeing yourself rise above them. If you will lift up your head, then the Lord mighty in battle will come in. And when God shows up, every adversity will be turned to victory, and every battlefield will be turned to a blessing field!

Today, lift up your head, even if you’ve been standing for a long time, even if you may feel weak and tired. Scripture says that when you feel weak, then He is strong in You! Psalm 3:3 says that He will even lift up your head. In other words, He will give you vision, He will infuse you with His life, and He will empower you to stand strong and embrace victory! Call on His name today because He is closer than the air you breathe. He is ready, willing and able to show Himself strong on your behalf when you invite Him to fight your battles!

In the Day of Trouble

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1, NIV)

God is always present with you. That means at all times, continually, perpetually, throughout all time, God is with you. In your day of trouble, He is a help to you. How is He your help? By providing whatever you need; by opening doors for you; by orchestrating things in your favor. That’s because “help” is specific to your need. We serve a God who is very specific, and because He is always with you, He always knows exactly what you need!

Today, are you facing trouble or adversity? Know that God is with you. Look to Him for help. Trust that He has the answer, and that He is working things out in your favor. As you continue to believe Him and follow His direction, He will lead you in the way that you should go. He will comfort you, revive you, restore you and bless you! He will be your ever-present help because He is forever faithful to His Word!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for being my ever-present help. I trust today that You are with me, that You are comforting me and restoring my soul. I lift my eyes to You this day. Help me to follow Your commands and honor You as You direct my steps. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

He Holds You in His Hand

“Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you…I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand…”
(Isaiah 41:10, AMP)

We all face situations in life that feel out of control. During times like these, it’s easy to get discouraged and allow fear to creep in; but instead, why don’t you focus on the fact that God is holding you in the palm of His hand! There is nothing too difficult for Him; nothing’s impossible; nothing is beyond His ability. When God holds you in His hand, you are safe; you are cared for. In His hand, there is victory. In His hand, there is strength. In His hand, there is provision. In His hand is everything you need.

No matter what you may be going through today, you can trust that God is for you. Instead of getting down and depressed over your circumstances, look up and get a vision of God turning that situation around. Let faith arise in your heart and focus on His favor, promotion and blessing. As you keep your heart and mind focused on Him and choose to obey His Word, you’ll see those supernatural breaks that will launch you further ahead than you ever thought possible because He holds you with His victorious right hand!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for helping me and holding me in Your victorious right hand. I choose to trust You even when things don’t make sense, even when things seem beyond my control. I release my cares to You knowing that You work all things together for my good. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Who Will Receive The Blessing?

“Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation”
(Psalm 24:3–5, NKJV)

God wants you to receive every blessing that He has in store for you. In His Word, He tells you about His wonderful blessings, but He also tells you how to receive His blessings — by having clean hands and a pure heart.

We are made pure and clean by the precious blood of Jesus when we make Him our Lord and Savior and turn away from anything that displeases Him. I’ve found that most of the time, it’s not the big things that keep us from God’s best; it’s the small things — maybe it starts with an offense that turns into unforgiveness. Maybe you watch something on TV or the internet that you know you shouldn’t, and it becomes a bad habit that steals your time and pollutes your mind.

Today, make the decision to let go of anything that would keep you from His blessings. Make the decision to be a person of excellence and integrity. Treat others with respect and kindness and look for ways to be a blessing. Be determined to live a life that pleases God so that you can receive the abundance He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses and renews me. I choose to turn away from anything that displeases You so that I can live righteously before You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Don’t Put it Off

Don’t Put it Off

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it”
(Psalm 118:24, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Many people are waiting for their circumstances to change in order to be happy and enjoy their lives. All the time I hear things like, “As soon as I get out of this problem, Joel, I’ll be happy.” “As soon as I lose ten pounds…as soon as my business grows…as soon as my child straightens up…” No, if you don’t put your foot down and decide to be happy right now, there will always be something to keep you from being happy.

God never intended for us to put off our happiness. We have a choice to make each and every day. We have to set our minds in the right direction. That’s why David said, “This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.” He was saying, “This is the day to be happy; not tomorrow, not when the weather clears up. Not next week, when I don’t have to work so hard. Not next month, when I make it through this difficult time.” No, choose to honor the Lord right now by choosing to enjoy your life. Get rid of the excuses and rejoice because this is the day that the Lord has made!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father God, thank You for this day. Thank You for another opportunity to sing Your praise. I choose to set my mind and heart on You. I choose to rejoice and be glad so that everything I do brings honor to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
